I use iClone7.81 for animation works and use those FBX files in Unreal. And I sometimes need the character's root node to be fixed at the origin.
According to the manual, I understand the "Reset Motion Root" enables the root node to follow the hip motion.

This may actually be a Live Link issue. When I load in my character into UE4 with Live Link, with hair physics active, the hair falls from the head (its fall is physically accurate, which is nice) and hovers around the character's knees.

Recently updated from 7.8 to 7.81- before hand everything worked fine.
Using an .iavatar asset exported from the latest character creator 3. Nothing unusual.

If you export a CC 3.3+ avatar in CC 3.3 with the export function as an iAvatar reduced with LOD function, this avatar will be exported to Iclone 7.81, but if you try to open this iAvatar in Iclone 7.81, Iclone crashes.

Specifically files with mixed smooth shading. If OBJ has multiple materials and a mix of "S 1" and "S OFF", they would fail to load with error.
