It seems like a bit of a oversight, or perhaps there was a reason behind it. I, for the life of me, cannot figure out how to set up proper IK bones inside of UE4. I can set up VIRTUAL bones inside the engine, but it's just not the same. Whenever I export out of CC3 straight to engine, and I...More

Not a bug
The character creator's high heel function is a good one. However, the feet are not in good position in some poses and animations. This bug also appears in iclone and does not appear in the imported characters(non standard) via 3dxchange.Attached image....More

Because, I want to be able to remove character meshes at runtime, re-use (eg switch shoes) or want to use them for other characters, ie. sunglasses, hats etc. we need the option to either export selected meshes directly out of CC3, or as a character export without one combined mesh.
That would...More

Even though iClone can do a lot of animation, some of it is easier to do in 3ds max or maya. It'd be nice to have a resource of a rigged .fbx model with added constraints and targets suited for the CC3 character animation....More

Attached see pic of a character I originally created in CC1, then to CC2 and finally to CC3.
1. There is something wrong with the conversion process as it has turned the eyes to a ghostly look as you run the animation.
2. I asked Support for help, but they seemed to be lost as to what to do...More

Hi.

The UV mapping gets screwed up with FBX export. I can provide samples, but it happens quite a bit -- the same avatar loaded into iClone (from CC3) is fine, but exported to FBX and then loaded into Blender or Anima shows the UV mapping is messed up....More

Easy to duplicate -- select an object with multiple materials and use polygon reduction (with recommended settings) and checkmark "Bake Textures" (I used 2048 but I think it happens at all resolutions). The textures are indeed baked to a new material (with "Merge" as the suffix) but the rest...More

Hi,
When exporting .FBX'es, the smoothing groups of non-native CC3 clothing is lost.
If the .FBX is opened directly in Unity (not through any editing program), the smoothing groups are just fine, but when opened in 3DS Max, the smoothing is completely gone, and the smoothing groups are non...More
