I have iclone 8.52 and unreal 5.5.2 yet when i try to transfer scene mesh to iclone i get the following message:
Please make sure iClone is running properly.

iClone8's drawing is of poor quality and cannot be shown to everyone without Unreal Engine, but if you use Unreal Engine for drawing, you can use metahuman from the beginning, so there is no point in using iClone8.
