Issue 8708
Unwanted Root Motion upon Export
I created an animation using Cascadeur, it’s a punching animation in which the root moves forward with the player but does not rotate nor does it move side to side.

I imported this animation into iclone, applied gestures and facial animations. Then ported the animation into UE5. Now with the animation inside of UE5 is contains unwanted root motion. Z axis moves up and down and unwanted rotation is also present.

Is there anyone that has encountered this and has an idea of how to work around it?

Thanks.

Fix for this: right click on motion clip, sample all parts, edit keys using the curve editor.
