CC303 failed to load CC3 base character models modified in 3ds Max and exported in FBX.
Just exported FBX files (without changes) imported back in CC303 normally....More

The problem is that AutoSetup plugin (or RLPlugin) is distributed as pre-compiled dll named "UE4Editor-RLPlugin.dll" in folder Binaries/Win64.

If you import a DAZ G2 male or female into CC3 using the 'Transformer' function, the face bones are not aligned correctly.
The eye bone positions are set out of place. This can be manually fixed using the bone editor as shown at this forum post:
