I have 6 characters created in CC, sent them to iClone then to 3DXchange Pipeline, exported them successfully (many times) as FBX to Unreal.

After importing a DAZ Genesis 3 (or 2) character into 3DXchange I am able to convert the character to non-standard fine (following this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3iS164uTgc).

The following bug seems to apply only to CC meshes and a few G6 meshes (such as hair). I did not notice it with G3 or G5 meshes.
