Issue 317
Blinking Eyes on long animations from iClone broken
When working with long animations and exporting them to 3DXchange, blinking generated by "Auto-Blink" breaks, though I have not found consistency to determine the exact cause.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Add Christian to a blank project
2. Set project length to 19000 frames
3. Add Mason_Talk_1
4. Append motion with Mason_Talk_2
5. repeat steps 3 and 4 until you have over 18000 frames of animation
6. delete all keys on Facial Layer ( this is because the animation has manually placed blinking, which works and will confuse you later)
7. Make sure "Auto-Blink is set to something other than NONE. (Nervous seems to blink a lot)
8. Play animation (Christian blinks perfectly)
9. Export Christian and entire animation to 3DXchange
10. Play animation. (I get one blink at the start)

I subsequently collected three 1000 frame sections of the entire animation and exported them to 3DXchange. In 3DXchange, each shorter clip started with a blink but never blinked again. This is different from the results illustrated in another other test, shown in the video.

Part of me thinks that the overall length may not be the issue. A second test has just Christian and one standard IDLE motion from Mason. Eyes blink throughout, but when the it is collected and exported with MotionPlus, 3DXchange does not have blinking eyes, only the start of the clip.

In another test, with MY own character, I had different results, but still broken. The linked video shows the entire process from start to finish: https://youtu.be/nKNvKzesweI

Thank you very much for your generous help.

I think there may has been some misunderstanding here.

If you want the avatar to blink during the puppeteering session, you may go to the Attribute tab to enable Auto-Blink. However it only works for iClone, in other words, it can't export the animation with Auto-Blink effect.

If you want the exported animation with Blinking Eyes effect, you can go to Modify > Animation > Face Puppet and record the motion clip for eye-blinking.
