Would be amazing if we could bake the textures from Iray and use them normally in iClone for animation :)
So we can render the scene even with the normal iClone renderer. Then the rendering process would be so much faster having the result of Iray render :D...More

If you select SET AS DUMMY on a prop, with the "receive shadows" option activated, the shadows on the object are not displayed when switching to ToonShader.

Any time a glow map is used for a given object and the render exported as a PNG with transparent background, a halo would surround the object.
This is regardless of the object type or glow map used. See slide 1.

Hi just thought that since iClone 7 is a real time graphics engine, that if it were possible, it would be great to have Nvidia's hairworks system built in, with perhaps a hair system like maya's xgen, to get life like flowing animated hair. What do you think ?

While Quality control may not be much useful for stills rendering, it might be quite valuable for rendering animations. Preset samples count for the entire export batch maybe too much for rendering specific frames in the animation sequence. Quality control might help to arbitrary lower samples...More

Iray is capable to produce a variable Motion Blur effect (according to Programmer's manual).
I was unsuccessful in reproducing the effect by just editing export .mi files.
