Overpriced LACKING LIMITED CANT EVEN USE IMPORTED ANIMATION OUT OF DATE PLUG-INS
Overpriced
hese are not up to par or todays industry standard and are very limited when compared to free software and this is also the older Popcorn FX its not even up to date so what should iclone7 & be used for bc i have all of your addons and at this point its giving waste of money bc I cant even import things made in free software into iclone7 the PopcornFX are old and cartoonish and most of all limited!!!!!!!

Even The cloth simulations sucks your weight maps are lacking I cant even do a good dress or cape simulations and its 2021 why is Iclone7 so far behind ?

for $120 it should be able to do everything the free stuff can do but better!!!!!!
$169 for Popcorn FX and its limited in what it can do!!! when Blender and Unreal is free and can do WAY MORE!!!!!!!!!

and to use the unreal link you want someone to pay $699 for 3Dexchange when the over all is lacking
so what are we paying for ???

and what are all of Popcorn tutorial for 2019, 2018, 2016 so you have not updated you FX, Simulations, or particle system in 4 years your still using the V1 of Popcorn FXs

and the Water is just Old like what is that

its really giving WAY OVER Priced and Not Up to 3D Standards

Some things in iClone are actually superior than UE5, Blender and some cases HoudiniFX. It's sometimes up to the artists to understand and utilize the tools to make something better that what currently exists. You can create things that are hyper real beyond what Reallusion provides.

For example, after playing around with cloth physics in iClone 7, I found out a way how to apply it to character skin, after some demonstrations to show realistic skin physics was possible, the feature was added to iClone 8 (free Camilla soft body physics" in the marketplace. I created my own photorealistic water and wave maker concept and put that in the marketplace. I have icebergs that bounce when hit with other rigid bodies and create ripples in the water or can be used to make tidal waves and way more possibilities - not yet in the marketplace, I am working on a realistic polar bear with fur to go with it.

Sometimes I get assets created by other people and modify them because if want more, if you want more learn to customize or simply put in a request or bug note on the feedback tracker. Reallusion has never marketed their software having amazing all purpose water, however, if you're an artist you are free to make it elsewhere and import as ABC format or other types. Reallusion has an SSS shader you can apply to water but unfortunately at this time, it doesn't support translucency/opacity to see through it but that's wher you can help, when people make that request they know what to develop when everyone is asking for the same thing.

Why are you repeating the same issues? This seems a duplicated in 11080. This is more of a rant than a suggestion!
