iClone 7 and Character Creator crashes on splash screen startup

I recently updated Windows 10 to approved version 1809.

It was working fine until Microsoft recommended these updates:

1. Security Intelligence Updates for Windows Defender Antivirus: KB2267602 (Version: 1.299.2841.0)
2. Update for Windows Defender Antivirus antimalware platform - KB4052623 (Version 4.18.1908.5)
3. 2019-08 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version1903 for x64-based Systems (KB4512508)

Upon doing so I tried to start iClone v7.41 and Character Creator v3.04 but both crashed on splash screen startup.

I tried to install the update for iClone v7.41 to iClone v7.5.3119.1. This to did not install.

But the iClone 3DXChange 7 Pipeline works fine.

I have run the RL System Collector and have attached the RL_FBT_UserSystemInfo_Windows.zip file for review to determine why any update to Windows 10 prevents iClone programs to crash, or refuse to update.

I kindly request you resolve this issue which I tried to avoid but have no other choice as Windows 10 needed the recommended upgrade from 1805 to 1809 as stipulated by Microsoft.

Please check your firewall and make sure it didn't block iClone and CTA installer.

Dear Donnie:

Thank you for the suggestion on rolling back the Nvidia driver update 436.02  a previous version. I have also read the links regarding those who have had the same issues too.

I did try to roll back 2 steps to a previous version but the  "Roll Back" button was greyed out, it means there is no old driver version that Windows can roll back to. In this case, I had to download the old driver from NVIDIA official website and install it manually.

So I downloaded the Nvidia driver update 431.36. and installed it.

Upon doing so I started both iClone v7.41 and Character Creator v3.04. They both worked. Great!!!

I tried to install the update for iClone v7.41 to iClone v7.5.3119.1. Or even use the iC750_Multi_Full_Patch.exe to install. This still did not install.

I even tried to install Cartoon Animator 4.01. This still did not install too.

All I got was the "User Account Control" blue bar dialog box. When I clicked "YES", nothing happens.

I have run the RL System Collector and have attached the "LATEST RL_FBT_UserSystemInfo_Windows.zip" file for review to determine why iClone update v7.5.3119.1. and Cartoon Animator 4.01 will not install.

Hi, dongraphifx,

It was caused by the latest nVidia driver update 436.02, please roll back your display driver to the previous version for now, we are working on it to find a solution.
