Hi rakibfahim80 & Regg We sincerely apologize for the late reply. We’ve been continuously monitoring this issue, as it occasionally occurs in certain environments, and we’re still working to identify the cause. We’d like to ask for your help — could you please provide your .ccProject and FBX files so we can further investigate? It would also be helpful if you could share the export settings you used when generating the FBX file. You can attach the files in your next comment. If you prefer not to share them publicly, please set your comment as private. Once we receive your reply, we’ll look into the issue as soon as possible. Kayla Reallusion
Whenever I try to use it, the shader doesn’t get assigned properly. Unlike Blender, it doesn’t work correctly in Maya, so I have to fix it manually every time, which is really frustrating. I’m a professional Maya user, and if you could focus more on Maya support, it would be a great help for artists like us. Below, I’m providing images and a video for reference.
I have the similar issue in autosetup for maya 2024. I have Arnold v5.4.5 but when I import the character, some material tabs are missing in the autosetup plugin eg Eye. And when i render with Arnold, the eyes are white, but the material displays fine in maya viewport.
Hi, Please also check your MotA (Arnold) version, when downloading Maya, MotA (Arnold) may not use the latest version. Please update to the newest version to see correct results in the material parameter panel. Joanne
HI alexispescinas Let me first clarify your issue step by step. Please start by going to the Toolbar section. Once this feature is enabled, you will be able to see the materials of your character directly in the viewport. If it is already enabled but you still cannot see it, then please check the FBX export path. Look inside the .fbm folder and confirm whether the texture files have been generated. If you have already checked both of these and the issue still persists, please attach your file in your next reply so that we can assist you in resolving the problem. Kayla Reallusion
