Issue 11085
Critical - Speed Up iClone for massive scenes - Auto Hide tabs + Changing of iClone System Priority to High + GPU Isolate all but hidden + Virtual Memory
1. Open Tabs Create a Hit on Frame Rate - How to check? use iClone's FPS counter and start closing Tabs. My suggestion is to either auto hide tabs when the mouse is over the viewport or use let users create and save tab & layout presets that are related to the workflow. (Work Flow Preset) While the mouse is hovering over the viewport, users should experience more FPS with all the tabs hidden.

2. I've ask Reallusion in the past to include a toggle checkbox of "High priority" for iClone that is connected to the Windows taskbar under "Details" --> "Set Priority" that users could use to give iClone more stability and speed! especially for larger projects. Other programs have started to use program priority for the same reasons.

3.***GPU Isolate all but hidden*** -only objects or characters the camera doesn't see via "raycast camera" things like objects hidden inside or behind other objects or not in camera view. There is usually an FOV renderer preload when the camera is close to seeing a hidden. Additionally this will help automatically disable everything that is using physics that is outside camera view to stabilize and speed up scenes. Particles hidden behind others or out of view would also benefit and the resolution/count could be increased.

4. An option preference window that shows the users Host ram and recommends changing virtual memory by double the virtual memory amount - a button that pops up Windows Virtual memory window. This is a recommendation I give to most users suffering from crashes, simply because they are creating bigger scenes - CC4 & iClone is powerless without this function.

5. Essential for saving - auto detect hard drive space and disable save option if there is not enough space on the selected hard drive. This would prevent iClone or CC4 from completely destroying a project since both the file to replace won't be written over and the backup from the crash will not even be made!

This needs to happen asap! because Reallusion, you've now introduced scatter and crowd sim which is made for more detailed scenes and would greatly benefit otherwise iClone is now crawling and crashes will happen more but they aren't bugs, it's a ram & CPU allocation issue. Users would also be able to have larger landscapes that are grid sliced or overlapped. Users would also benefit from faster renders! time is money. The visibility states can be baked into the timeline and hopefully exportable to game engines or Omniverse etc.

*"GPU isolate all but hidden" will also benefit live motion capture, or mocap in complex scenes with or without Vblogging. It would also benefit live linking to Unreal, your customers would greatly appreciate the the massive performance increase and could add many more live actors.

For Clarity - GPU isolate all but hidden simply isolates all things the camera is currently looking at, anything out of camera view or obstructed from view by something large or hidden inside something else is disabled from view.
