I am writing to request the addition of a Body Blendshape (Pose-Based Morph) feature in Character Creator 5. Currently, users can create custom morph sliders manually, but there is no built-in system for generating pose-driven body blendshapes, such as muscle bulging or joint-based corrective shapes.
This limitation makes it difficult to achieve realistic deformation when characters perform dynamic movements — for example, when bending arms, squatting, or rotating shoulders. Having to sculpt and assign each corrective morph manually via ZBrush or GoZ is both time-consuming and prone to error.
Therefore, I would like to suggest implementing a Body Blendshape Editor or Pose-Driven Morph System that allows users to:
Automatically link morphs to specific joint rotations (similar to Pose Driver in Unreal Engine).
Create muscle-based or corrective morphs directly inside CC5, without requiring ZBrush.
Preview real-time deformation during animation to fine-tune realism.
This feature would greatly enhance CC5’s capabilities for cinematic and real-time animation workflows, allowing users to produce muscle simulation-like realism natively within Character Creator.
Thank you very much for considering this improvement. I believe many artists and technical animators will benefit from a more intuitive and integrated body blendshape workflow.
