Hi, I have tried this. 1- After trying to run 3DXchange 7, the error dialog box appeared. 2 - I have clicked OK. 3 - The 3DXchange 7 black "About" dialog box appeared for 1 second. Then program closed. 4 - Disabled NVIDIA Driver, run 3DX 7 - Dx9.reg, Started 3DXchange 7 and Program runs as you can see. Regards Pavel
Hi, Pavel, Yes, your installed 3DX7 will be save, you don't have to "install" this test version, it's in a zip file, just extract it to a folder on the Desktop or on your "D" drive, and follow the steps in the readme file to set this test version into DX11 mode, run the iClone3DXchange.exe from its "Bin" folder, and see if it launch successfully? After the testing, you can set it back to DX9 mode, delete the extracted folder, and let us know the result. Reallusion
HI, I have downloaded your files. Just before I install them, I wan t to make sure that I don't override my original version of 3DXchange 7 Pipeline, which still works under Generic PnP driver. Therefore if I install your "special test version of 3DXchange 7 to use DirectX 11 mode" on the Desktop or on my "D" drive, my original version of 3DXchange 7 Pipeline will be safe without a danger of being overwritten. Hi, feelingood, To solve the crash on launch issue of 3DXchange 7, we have build a special test version of 3DXchange 7 to use DirectX 11 mode, we need to confirm that whether this approach of solution is feasible on your computer? Please download the zip file with the link below, extract it on your Desktop. There is a readme in the zip file, simply described how to switch between DX9 and DX11 mode. Please try the DX11 mode and let us know whether this version of 3DX7 is launch-able? Please note that this version of 3DX7 is an unstable version, it is still under testing, DO NOT overwrite the original 3DX7 installed in your computer, and DO NOT use it in your daily work. It contains bugs, for example, currently it will fail loading fbx file. Also please ignore the "Load msx Error" message while launching 3DX7 for DX11. For your case, we would also like to know whether the 3DX7 in DX11 mode is launch-able if you switch your monitor driver back to use nVidia driver. However, we can not guarantee that if you switch your monitor driver to nVidia driver and then switch it back again to the Generic PnP driver, your original 3DX7 will still work.
