Skin weights lose precision after FBX export causing clothing penetration in UE5 and on reimport to CC5
When exporting a CC5 character to FBX using the Unreal UE5
Skeleton preset, clothing skin weights lose precision during
the FBX conversion process. This causes mesh penetration
(clothing clipping through body geometry) that does not exist
in the original CC5 project.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create character in CC5 with clothing (tested with
Rocker_Jeans)
2. Apply crouch animation in CC5 — no skin penetration
visible (CC5_Screenshot.png)
3. Export as FBX using Unreal UE5 Skeleton preset at
SubD 0, SubD 1 and SubD 2 — all three tested
4. Reimport the exported FBX back into CC5
5. Apply same crouch animation — clothing penetration
now visible (CC5-Reimported_FBX.png)
6. Import into UE5 using Auto Setup — same penetration
present (UE5.png) (I have been fixing the skin weight in UE so it looks different right now but i can confirm it looks the same when i did import the character first time and applied the crouch animation)

Tested SubD levels 0, 1 and 2 — SubD 0 reduces
penetration slightly but does not eliminate it. SubD 1
and 2 show more penetration than SubD 0.

Convert to Game Base was also tested — this increased
penetration further.

All export settings are correct:
- Target Tool Preset: Unreal UE5 Skeleton
- FPS: 30
- Normal: DirectX Y-
- Reference Pose: A-Pose for UE5 Skeleton
- Texture Preset: Unreal

The skin weights are clearly correct internally in CC5
as evidenced by zero penetration in the original project.
The precision loss only occurs during FBX export/import
conversion.

This breaks the advertised seamless CC5 to UE5 pipeline
workflow. Please investigate whether the FBX exporter
can preserve CC5's internal skin weight precision,
particularly for clothing mesh bone influences.

reimported FBX in CC5 (penetration), and UE5 result
(penetration).

Hi arturskrastins2,

Have you tried Delete Hidden Faces when export? It can significantly reduce the occurrence of clothing penetration
