Is Import/Export Support for Houdini Indie for CC4 and IClone 8 on the horizon?
I spend most of my time working in virtual production environments, and the unique VFX tools that only Houdini Indie offers to its users are an integral part of my 3D content workflow.
So if you think that there is a way that Reallusion's impressive array of tools can be used in conjunction with Houdini Indie to streamline the process of making CG characters interact with dynamic VFX effects - such as simulated hair strands, water particles, and interactions between hair strands and water particles - in real time, then I think that would be really a helpful possibility to consider.
I agree. This would be helpful for me too.
Currently, I am Exporting everything with the Maya Preset, and It works ok, but I have to fix many things afterward.
I am currently running into an issue when I do the FBXCharacterImport. The Capture Skeleton is not being imported properly, which makes a lot of workflows more difficult. It is weird because the animation skeleton looks ok.
