ZBrush to character creator, character creator crashes.
The problem I'm having is that when I goZ to character creator, character creator first freezes and then crashes. If I delete the file in character creator then it will updated the tool in character creator, it will then complete the transfer.

It is as if it is having problems deleting the old tool file before updating the new file from ZBrush.

The latest update looks to have solved this transfer bug for me!
So far, no more crashes for Clothing or Accessories.

Hey David,

I put in a Ticket through the support desk and below is the info I got back.
I tried deleting the character's higher SubD levels in CC5 and it works for me!  A good temp workaround until the next update fixes the bug. 
I also had issues sending stuff to ZBrush a few weeks back.  The solution that worked for me was the registry editor fix from Joanne_RL on this page here https://discussions.reallusion.com/t/the-cc-goz-plus-plugin-is-not-working/16355/7


The GoZ Ticket reply:

"Current version of CC may crash when sending back cloth/hat/hair from zbrush with goz if character in CC contain subdivide level data. It shall be fixed in next release, if you want to update cloth, delete higher level of character may work.

Please note that if you’re going to update accessory or cloth from zbrush, please avoid using Sub1~2 in zbrush goz plus plugin."


So unfortunately, you may need to send a new version each time for now, instead of an update. Sorry for the extra steps that will cause, having to delete the old one each time a new one is sent back.

Yeah, checking on this as well.
I'm trying to work on the 2026 Reallusion contest and this is a massive workflow roadblock.

Is there any news on a solution to the two problems? I am having? Not being able to GoZ between character creator and ZBrush. The second problem between ZBrush and character creator, when I try to update clothing from ZBrush into character creator it crashes. As our friend above mentioned, and he sent a video showing exactly the problem I have.

Hi, 

Yes exactly the same problem I’ve got.

On top of that I can’t get CC to GoZ to ZBrush.
Looked at numerous threads and tried all the suggestions but still it’s not finding ZBrush.

Driving me nuts.
