Issue 12483
Texture Failed to Load when importing updated character from Zbrush
When using GoZ Plus to export character from Zbrush back to CC5, an issue stating "texture failed to load" pops up, not allowing me to update normal and displacement maps. I reinstalled all plugins and and CC5 and it fixed the issue for 1 export and then it broke again. The mesh itself gets updated, but any changes to the normal and displacement maps are not registered. Moreover, any previous updates to the maps get overwritten and the character is back to being a CC5 basemesh without any changes from Zbrush reflecting in its mesh maps.

Hi anuptom,

First, please accept our sincere apologies for the delay in our response.

We have been investigating the "Texture Failed to Load" issue you reported when using GoZ Plus to send characters from ZBrush back to CC5. Currently, we are unable to reproduce this texture loading failure and the subsequent map overwriting behavior on our end.

To help our developers investigate the exact cause of this texture drop, please provide the specific CC project file (.ccproject) or the character file you are working with.

Upload the file to a cloud service (such as Google Drive or Dropbox) and share the link with us in this thread. Having your exact file will allow us to test the specific mesh and texture data to pinpoint the error.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Best regards,
Kayla
