iClone 8
Version:
8.62
Status:
Not a Bug
Issue 12283
No Match Position - No Slider - No Morph
steps by steps (also showing the picture)
1. adding "SHIRT" to character in CC4 (as pic number 1)
2. sending to iclone (as pic number 2)
3. open morph creator (as pic number 2)
4. import "SHIRT" morph in 'bigger' size (as pic number 4)
5. success, slider BIGGER appear (as pic number 4)

PROBLEM
1. as picture number 4, that the position is not match
2. as pic number 7, when you send back to CC4, or save the avatar, there is no slider MORPH section in CC4,

a. so when you send to unreal using unreal live link, the morph slider in iclone will not sync to unreal, nothing change about the morph
b. also the position of the shirt is not match

EXPECTED result,
point a and b were work in previous version, I have latest,

note: maybe I am wrong, there's a time I dont do update, but seems there's a change internally,
some issue solved, then appear new one.

I am pretty sure before of this, everything is okay, please check
OS: Windows 10

Hi damar.td,

Because the character’s body shape has to follow the clothing deformation, CC can’t export only the clothing by itself. You must export the clothing together with the character and bring it into iClone Morph Creator as a morph target. This way, when you adjust the slider, you won’t see the clothing and the character separating. (Please see the attached images)

For the second issue, CC has its own morph-creation pipeline, which currently only supports characters. It does not support morphs for props, clothing, hair, etc. Therefore, you won’t find in CC’s Morph Sliders any morph sliders that were created in iClone using Morph Creator — there is no official workflow for this at the moment.
