Laggy, slow, unresponsive at any settings including minimal

I've been experiencing a tremendous amount of lag trying to edit/undo basic morphs on HD characters. No matter what subdivision or render settings, any edits drop the frame rate < 4fps and undo and redo operations take multiple seconds to complete.

I've searched on the topic and tried to make sure all the recommendations are in place. I've got no custom profiles in Nvidia settings and application controlled is set as default. I've also cleared the temp folders. I made sure that in windows display it's set to use the GPU for the app as well. Nothing showed any improvement.

Is this to be expected or is there something wrong with my configuration?

Specs:

- Windows 10 x64
- AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3970X 32
- 128 GB RAM
- NVIDIA RTX 3090 (latest studio drivers installed v.32.0.16.1062)
- VRAM 24GB
- M2 SSD for all operating system and application folders
- Desktop resolution: 4k

bro i cant even open this piece of trash and i was thinking on purchase this trash i tried that "fRee tRiAl" its over i am going to uninstall this piece of sh1t and never come back
