Issue Transferring Crowd-Sim Animation to Omniverse – Characters in T-Pose
Hello Support Team,

I'm currently using the connector to transfer a Crowd-Sim animation into Omniverse. While the character positions update correctly in the Composer, the animations themselves do not appear to transfer—the characters remain in a T-pose within Omniverse. I suspect I may have missed a setup step.

Could you provide any guidance or tips on resolving this issue?

For reference, here is the tutorial and the steps I followed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=61APaentZd0.
I am using iClone v8.52 and Omniverse Composer KIT.106. The video screenshots are in the attachements.

Thanks in advance for your support.

Hello Soya,

Thank you for the support—the issue has been resolved.
I have one more question: does this mean the animation can only be activated from the iClone side? Is there any way to save or trigger the motion from the OV side instead?

Thanks

Hi,

You have correctly sent the character and objects to Omniverse (OV), but for character animations, they must be sent using Live Link mode.
The issue you're encountering is likely due to not having connected the Live Session.
Please refer to the tutorial at timestamp 2:07 — first, establish a Live Link connection in iClone so that OV can receive the data.
Then, switch to OV and click “Live” to receive the data being streamed from iClone.
