I have encountered a serious and reproducible issue in iClone 8.73. When a character is positioned far away from the world origin, manipulating the character's pose causes the CC.Base.Hip bone to move unintentionally along the X-axis.
The issue becomes significantly worse as the character moves farther from the world origin. For example:
At X = 0 → after 20 pose adjustments, there is no Hip movement. At X = -5000 → after 20 pose adjustments, CC.Base.Hip changes from -5000 to -4999.48. At X = -9000 → after 20 pose adjustments, CC.Base.Hip changes from -9000 to -8998.96.
The feet remain visually stationary, even though they are not locked. However, because the CC.Base.Hip itself moves, the movement propagates through the entire skeleton and causes the character's position to drift.
I have attached screenshots documenting the initial and final Hip positions and the resulting displacement.
This is a very serious problem for animation and character posing, because the Hip position changes automatically every time the character is posed. The displacement accumulates with repeated pose adjustments and can seriously compromise animation accuracy and workflow.
This issue needs to be investigated and resolved urgently. It makes precise character posing and animation extremely difficult when working away from the world origin.
Please investigate the cause of this unintended CC.Base.Hip movement and provide a fix as soon as possible.
