Issue 12518
Animation position doesn't match iClone and Exported version in Unreal
I have an animation sequence that lines up with a building and props and looks ok in iclone.
As soon as export the fbx into unreal, it start and ends in the same spot but in between there seems to be a drift and the character no longer lines up with my props.
I've tried sampling all frames or cutting the animation into pieces to force keys to be added but nothing seems to work.
My sequence is about a minute long with the character moving around a 4x4m space and going up and down a ladder so there is quite a bit of root movement.

Hi meletis3d,

Thank you for reporting this issue regarding the animation drift between iClone and Unreal Engine. We understand how frustrating it can be when root motion and positional tracking do not align perfectly, especially with complex sequences like climbing ladders.

To help our team investigate the root cause of this discrepancy, we need to replicate your exact environment. Could you please provide us with the following?

     1. The Project File: Please share the specific iClone project file (.iproject) or the motion file you are working with.

     2. Export Settings: A screenshot of your exact FBX export settings in iClone (showing all the boxes you have checked).

     3. A Screen Recording: If possible, a short video showing your export process from iClone and how the drift appears when played back in Unreal Engine.

You can upload these files to a cloud service (like Google Drive or Dropbox) and share the link with us here. Having these details will significantly speed up our testing process and help us find a solution for you.

Thank you so much for your time and cooperation!
