error with new "Auto Setup for Maya"
before release new version for Maya 2026, "Auto Setup for Maya" working well for Maya 2025 and 2024.
but now I found several error.

1 - "Auto Setup for Maya" has problem with AdvancedSkeleton Maya plugin.
if we have AdvancedSkeleton rig in the Maya scene, "Auto Setup for Maya" not even open.

2 - if we import FBX and rig face first, AdvancedSkeleton not able to set correct rig. some problem happened for kneed and elbow.
I checked AdvancedSkeleton, working well before "Auto Setup for Maya" make a rig for face.

I test this issues in Maya 2025 and 2024, both has same issue. I have no idea about Maya 2026

I wanted to give you a quick update on our progress. Our development team is currently prioritizing the AdvancedSkeleton rigging conflict (Issue 2). Since we were able to isolate the cause of the bone and joint distortion, our engineers are actively working on a patch to resolve this rigging order logic.

As for the plugin failing to open (Issue 1), it is proving a bit tricky to replicate consistently in our testing environment right now. However, please rest assured that we are keeping your report open. We will continue to monitor and investigate the UI loading behavior alongside the rigging fix.

We will let you know as soon as the patch for the rigging conflict is ready for you to try.

also here is error message in script editor of Maya

I have this issue on my PC and my friends laptop. both using win 11

Regarding Issue 2 (AdvancedSkeleton rigging fails after Auto Setup face rig):
Good news—we have successfully reproduced this issue on our end! We can confirm that applying the Auto Setup facial rig first causes conflicts with AdvancedSkeleton's elbow and knee setups. We have logged this behavior and escalated it to our development team to investigate the rigging order logic.

Regarding Issue 1 (Auto Setup fails to open with AdvancedSkeleton rig in scene):
We have been trying to reproduce this specific conflict in both Maya 2024 and 2025, but the Auto Setup UI currently opens normally for us even with an AdvancedSkeleton rig present in the scene.

Because we cannot trigger this blockage on our end, it might be related to the specific character mesh or a particular setting in your scene. To help our QA team pinpoint exactly where the plugin is failing to load, could you please share both the exact FBX file you are importing and the Maya scene file (.ma or .mb) from your test?
