checkbox in EditMotionLayer to compute new Root Position and Rotation according to Hip Moevement
An issue of animating with EditMotionLayer’s IK. To use IK for hand made animation it is necessary to use the Hip (Move and Rotate) to get the character moving in the world, while keeping one of the feet pinned in position. This implies that the character looses touch with his Root. And that means that redirecting a loaded clip will be very tedious, because every loaded clip uses the character Root as a reference.
My suggestion: Let there be a checkbox for automatic adjusting the Root along with the hip-bone movement and rotation. It takes some programming, but it would help to maintain a fluid animation-process.
Animating character movement is difficult enough, so we don't need technical roadblocks.
