Weight Maps don't allow true black
When I drop a weightmap in for soft cloth use, it doesn't allow pure black, which in turn, makes things like pinning impossible.
But I can create the proper weight map in CC3 and bring it in. So it seems kind of like a bug to me.

Hi dpolcino,

The weight map has two limitations:
1. It supports a pure black color, but it doesn't support an entirely black weight map. If the whole map is black, it means that all the vertices can't be controlled by soft cloth.
2. The number of cloth meshes is limited to 20,000.

Thank you for taking the time to report this issue.

You certainly do allow pure black, I've done it, and it's part of your very own weight maps. If one wants to pin parts of a cloth sim, you need black, otherwise the whole thing just drops off.
Here's a weight map from the base iClone install. Looks like pure black to me.
