The recording part of the motion puppet is not limited at the current clip ...
... and it delete everything located after ( Cf. screenshot).

So how are we supposed to managed "multi-layer" recordings as suggested in the documentation?

Hi jlucfree，

Do you mean that you want to add many layers in Animation Layer panel?If yes,you must use "Edit Motion Layer” to set key,you can't use Motion Puppet and Direction Puppet,because it will become a new motion clip.So it will delete the following clip.
