Issue 6203
The app crash at start after splash screen after update to 3.04
I am not able to run the application anymore. Got the latest update to 3.04 from the hub and installed it. Now when I run the app, it launch, show the splash screen and then quit.

I did uninstall the app completely and re-installed via hub, but it is doing the same thing. Windows 10 has the latest updates; same for the latest drivers from Nvidia Geforce experience

I did enable the crash logging and I get this error when it starts:

"The thread tried to read from or write to a virtual address for which it does not have the appropriate access."

I have attached the crash log so you can see it. Please advise about how to fix this; because I am stuck with a deadline and obviously, if I did start the app is because I need to use it.

My computer is an Acer Predator G9-793 with 32 GB of RAM, Nvidia GTX 1070 GPU and i7 7700HQ. Everything was fine few months ago, when I last used the application; so something must be wrong with the new version of the application clearly.

Hi, lollosone,

Nvidia has released the 440.97 Game Ready driver On 2019.10.22, which have fixed the issue that will cause iClone 7 and CC 3 to crash while launching. However, the Studio driver have not update yet. For users who use Studio driver, might want to switch to the 440.97 Game Ready driver, or wait until the next Studio driver release.

Since this fix was made in the driver level, no iClone or CC updates are needed. Thank you for your patience to wait for such a long time.

Regards,
Donnie

Hi, lollosone,

Please check this issue and see if this is your case?
https://www.reallusion.com/FeedBackTracker/Issue/iClone7-CC3-don-t-launch-after-nVidia-driver-update

If your nVidia driver is 436.02, please roll back your display driver to the previous version for now, we are working on it to find a solution.

Regards,
Donnie
