Issue 12233
The UV files for Genesis 9 are missing from SkinGen Premium.
I've attached a sample message I got when trying to load a genesis 9 SkinGen template. Please note my default Reallusion install folder is D:\Reallusion\Reallusion Templates. I have searched C:\Users and the D:\Reallusion\Reallusion Templates and was unable to find the missing files.

I believe this is also causing a problem with bake body not working when imporing a Genesis 9 character. See second screenshot.

Additional steps from comment below. Load a G9 head texture in the G9 head diffuse channel. It will not transfer correctly. Notice the washed out look and asymmetry.

Try the same using the G8 face in the G8 face channel. Notice it loads the face correctly.

Sometimes I only want to load part of a DAZ character texture set. With Genesis 8 figures I have loaded LIE and geoshell textures as assets to use in the appearance editor. The skin gen tool has this ability and need to be fixed.

To reproduce the steps. Load the cc3+ neutral base character. Select the character and activate the appearance editor . Load Skin>Skin Gen Tools>UV Transfer>DAZ G9>DazG9_Head. In the appearance editor click the DazG9_Head icon. Observe the Mask which is wrong. It should be a white mask. For comparison load a G8 face mask.

I do not easily understand your goal to suggest a workaround and maybe providing a detailed step of what's failing to replicate on my end may help.

My personal G9 texture import workflow for Hero assets is by
1. using the Texture Profile Configuration File which ends with .ini extension then map what is not transferable manually (u generate the file from Transformer then edit and fill names of textures with extension then provide full path on next Transformer entry Field).
2. Template the G9 imported Base Figure and skin to CC standard. (with Current Transformer the Actor is already in CC3+ base so I don't do this anymore).
2. Use PBR workflow between CC and Substance Painter G9 Texture as Base or reference (steep learning curve for newbies but best Total control for me).
3. Commit assets.

note
I am not using any automated workflow during the texturing process.
The PBR Workflow I am using is over approx. 10yrs no change and knowledge apply to all industry PBR standards
I have a perpetual license for substance designer and substance painter (not sure how much expensive nowadays), so this method works for me.
For crowds and non-hero characters my take is SkinGen will alleviate the decision fatigue on making random characters and inspiration seeking driven or dependent workflows.

For me I don't really do any UV work in CC but defining your task goal clearer or giving steps to replicate problem may help so even if I can't solve your problem perhaps where possible I can share my ''solution'' or workflow.

see attached what I get using just the texture profile configuration file texture import workflow with some few tweaks.
You will notice the Genesis9Tear which is detected and attempted to be isolated by the new 5.02 "buggy' process pokes through the eyes.
In my opinion the configuration workflow is far superior although it may be intimidating at first.
It's best to learn it as the language transfers to all other PBR workflows not just for Reallusion and if you are going to use Unreal in future you will understand fully different Texture Packaging.

I am a continuous leaner and hope what I share may be of help.

I reverted CC4 to the prior version and was able to import DAZ 9 characters and their textures.

But the skin gen tools textures still don't work for DAZ 9. The import black and white masks are missing and the tool uses colored masks instead. I got some of the imports to work by converting the colored masks to black and white. However the head mask does not work.

This issue is partially fixed.
I had to update the SkinGen Tool Plugin Resource Pack in the Content Manager, since reinstalling from the Reallusion Hub did not automatically install the new files.T

I still can't import the G9 textures from Transform.
When importing from SkinGen the Gen 9 UVs are only mapped to half of the figure' in the back. The textures are also overlaid and misaligned.
