Root motion not exported in FBX
Going off from a 2017 thread about root motion not being exported with FBX files, I have recently experienced that this issue still exists. For good measure I have tried a number of different things, including enabling/disabling Reset root motion, selecting both Unreal and Unity presets, and even trying to re-export the resulting FBX using 3DXchange, which results in the animation being removed altogether (what?).
Can anyone else confirm the persistent status of this issue, or is there a setting or step that I am missing when trying to export by animations into FBX?

Sorry fabio how you solved the root problem ? I am having the same issue right now and can't find a proper solution
Since my last inquiry, I was ultimately able to export the root bone, but now i am faced with a different issue, as all of my turning animations don't work properly with UE4.
To illustrate my new issue, i have attached a simple diagram. I am trying to generate an animation of my character walking in circle, which i plan to use in my root motion animation in UE4. In IClone, i generate my character animation witth the root bone aligned to the position of the first frame of the animation, but that is not what i want. I want my character to start the motion along the circular path surrounding the world's origin, in a similar way as Mixamo does.
