Problem with DOF

Even with high quality dof and supersampling the blurred background its not coming out smooth.
Weird square shapes/lines or spots appear.

Confirmed!

Problem using DOF, the part that is blurred is full of strange artifacts on the most blurred section.
This occurs when you use a material in the scene that has refraction. Without, there are no artifacts. 

This iProject crashed as I was making it so I can't delete the props that start with the letter "W" therefore the zip file is 57megs.

unfortunately i didnt save the project. Maybe the problem occured because i was using smoke or fog almost everywhere in the scene.
