Popcorn FX crashes iClone after 600 frames

When I add PopcornFX particles to an iClone scene and scrub through the timeline, iClone crashes and disappears after about 600 frames.

OS: Windows 10

Here is the project.  The particles labelled "GOOD" do not crash iClone.  The particle labelled "BAD" crashes after 40 frames.
