No longer able to import external animations (motions) correctly.
In previous versions of iClone you were able to create a character (e.g. within CC4), Send To iClone and also export this as an FBX to 3dsmax. You then use the Reallusion plugin (inside 3dsmax) to import the fbx and add a Biped Rig. You animate that rig and export the animation as an FBX. This fbx file could then be dropped back onto the original model within iClone8 and then sent back to CC4. Now when I repeat that process (in CC5, an updated CC4 and iClone 8) the animations don't work, either the targeting or the entire animation fails. The closest I can get moves major limbs (incorrectly), but fingers etc are ignored. This used to be a simple process, I've even tried using the Characterization mode to manually select/match the bones (which I also did not have to do previously). Even after this, the model does not animate correctly and just floats around. It's like the program no longer understands the 3dsmax rigs correctly. I've also tried a CAT rig, which also worked previously, but fbx files using CAT rigs are now rejected completely and iClone 8 doesn't identify the motion profile at all. Finally I also tried downloading a Mixamo fbx (without skin) and that also doesn't work.
