Issue 5896
Invalid CC3 character
The project file is currently 913Mb with one CC3 character. As I am working away with the CC3 character, all of a sudden I get the message in the picture that iClone 7 declares the CC3 character is now an invalid Avatar. Huh?

I shut down iClone 7 and try to restart the program after a few minutes and it will not start. Once I reboot my PC I have no problems with the Project file, but this is an aggravating situation. Previously, I started to notice the clothes would just disappear from the CC3 character. I would then have to click the character and double-click, again clicking too many times, to get the clothes back on the character. That should not happen, ever. The Scene Manager showed the clothes were there, but all I saw was a naked woman.

To fix this problem, perhaps a "user defined" temp folder size option would be appropriate. With that option, I can choose where and how much of my resources are given to a "paging" file. Right now, you can not tell how big the "temp folder" is.

I submitted an earlier Ticket for help, and yes Molly is currently looking at my last issue, so this begs the question that there are "limits" to this program as the Project file grows. I was told to "create as big of a Project file that I wanted" and that advice is inappropriate if "clothing, for example, disappears" for no reason at all or the CC3 character becomes invalid. If I add another character, I can only suspect this will cause if more problems and at that point I just don't know what to do.

The whole point of using your software is to create an environment that is believable to some degree, and trust me, I have pared down that scene as much as possible since it is just one room. If I make it a 2D, it become stupid. If I was to export this Project file to Unreal or Unity, I can only suspect that would also be a nightmare.

I tried this with iClone 6 and 3DXchange Pipeline 6 and that was so incomplete that it really does not work seamlessly. Period. This is why I was unwilling to pay for the upgrade to 3DXchange Pipeline 7. It has problems.

Now with a CC3 created character suddenly being declared invalid, the "nightmare" is here. This becomes an issue when all of a sudden you spend way too much time fixing issues that should not be issues.
