Issue 12658
Importing animation ruins the pelvis movement (curves look wrong)
When you import various external animations to your iavatars (which essentially retargets outside fbx files to iclone rig), some of them get the pelvis movement completely wrong. See example in curve editor of the Z position (IK mode). Correct import would look like a smooth wave, but for some characters (I don’t know why) iclone decides to import a completely different movement. This problem seems to mainly be about all the pelvis channels, perhaps related to varying height of characters. I’ve checked across 5 different characters: some work, others get weird (and different each times) alterations of the pelvis movement.

Hi oyvind_020330,
Could you please provide the following so we can investigate this issue further?

The source FBX animation that reproduces the issue.
The iAvatar (or CC character) used for testing. If possible, please provide both a character that exhibits the issue and one that works correctly with the same animation.
A complete screen recording showing your import workflow and the resulting behavior.
If available, the iClone project after importing the animation.

These files will help us reproduce the issue and identify the root cause more efficiently.

You can use cloud services such as Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive to make the files available to us and put the link in your comment. You can use Private Comment if you want to keep it private.

Thanks
Steven
