Issue 12263
How to fix additive behavior with Blender?
I’m rendering an animation with Iclone/Blender pipeline for the first time.

Everything is taking place in the same scene, so I’m using a single Blend file.

The first motion I sent over went fine but when I sent a second I noticed the face was off and the arms were raised from the body. I then realized the face animation on the second motion was added from the first motion. So, I started poking around clicked on the “clear” button with the first animation selected in the animation tools drop down.

This had the effect of clearing the incorrect face animation. But I still have the issue of the arms raised from the body.

I thought maybe it was additive from the bind pose but hitting “clear” on the bind pose does not fix the issue.

Is there some procedure I'm not aware of when sending multiple motions to the same Blend file so that the motions appear correctly in Blender?

Hi,

To better clarify your problem, please provide:
1. Your Blender project file
2. Your iClone project and the character file.
3. How did you send the motion to Blender

Non-standard character might cause bone name mis-match so motion might get mixed up after sent to Blender.
You should not need to delete any animation you've sent. You should only switch between different animation you've sent.

You could try both Blender Auto Setup or Blender Data Link to transfer characters and motions, see which workflow works for you:
