Issue 10828
Eye glitches after update, not there previously
I updated the program and content through content manager and reallusion hub yesterday. This morning I went in to touch up some of the camera movements and nothing else. When I played the animation that previously worked without issues, some of my characters are having issues with their Left Eye. The iris/pupil escapes the eye at the bottom, and there is some white line cutting off the iris at the eyelid when the eye is squinting. It doesn't seem to affect the right eye as far as I can tell.

I've added an image showing what I describe.

Again, these issues were not present before I updated yesterday.

just a quick tip for anybody like me who is using this workaround and has a bunch of props and masking and other interactions and don't want to change out the whole body every time:

the process described in the previous message works equally well with just saving and replacing the head, rather than the entire character (so long as you've got the original heads saved already)

Hi savini.andrew,

Sorry, although my method of replacing the actor can solve the problem now, once the Project is resaved, the problem will recur.

We apologize for the inconvenience and hope it can be sorted out shortly.

Thank you for providing a working solution, I'll give that a try! I have about thirty projects with the issue (using the same set of about nine characters). Would I need to perform these steps in each project, or is it only for each character?

Hi savini.andrew,

We are still processing this problem. You can temporarily solve it by using the following methods

Step 1. Load your project
Step 2. Save the problematic actor in Content Manager
Step 3. Pick actor > Go to composer mode
Step 4. Replace actor
Step 5. Back to stage mode
Step 6. Check your actor issue and it should be fixed
