CC5.2 RTX Render Open Beta crashes during "Finalizing DXR Pipeline" on RTX 5060 8GB
Hello Reallusion Team,
I am experiencing a repeatable crash in Character Creator 5.12 while using the new RTX Render Open Beta.
System Configuration: • Character Creator: 5.12 • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 (8 GB VRAM) • NVIDIA Driver: Latest Studio Driver (Released on July 28, 2026) • RAM: 24 GB • Operating System: Windows 11
Problem: Character Creator works normally with the standard render engine.
The crash only occurs when RTX Render Open Beta is enabled.
While opening my character, Character Creator reaches "Finalizing DXR Pipeline" and then crashes suddenly.
Character Details: • HD Morphs • SkinGen Layers • Realistic Hair • 4K Textures
GPU Usage During Loading: • Dedicated VRAM: Approximately 7.5–8.0 GB • Total GPU Memory: Approximately 9.9 GB • GPU Utilization: 100%
Troubleshooting Performed: • Reduced Viewport Samples • Reduced Final Samples • Reduced Bounce Count • Start Sample set to 1 • Balanced Quality • Render with Max Texture Resolution disabled • Standard Render works normally • Crash occurs only with RTX Render Open Beta
Expected Result: Character Creator should complete the DXR Pipeline initialization and load the character successfully.
Actual Result: Character Creator crashes during "Finalizing DXR Pipeline".
Additional Information: This issue appears to be related to RTX Render Open Beta DXR Pipeline initialization or VRAM management on RTX 5060 8 GB GPUs. Since the issue only occurs with RTX Render Open Beta and not with the standard renderer, it may be a beta optimization or compatibility issue.
Thank you for your hard work. I hope this report helps improve RTX Render stability.
Hi, could you please upload the files to Google Drive or any other cloud storage service?

Hi,
Thank you for your response.
I have already updated my NVIDIA Studio Driver to version 610.88.
I will test the RTX Render Open Beta again. If it still crashes, I will collect the crash dump (.dmp) file following the Crash Reporting Guide and attach it here.
Thank you.
