Issue 12443
Batch Render wants to save projects between renders - click "no" and no more renders happen
In the latest version of iClone 8.65, the Batch Render tool now only renders the first of the batch.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open iclone
2. From the Render menu, select Batch Render
3. Select a folder with multiple iproject files
4. Batch render

Expect behaviour
All iProjects files that are discovered are rendered

Actual behaviour
First one renders, then a dialog box appears asking if you want to save the project, options Yes, No, Cancel. Clicking No stops any further renders.

Hi ade.p,

Regarding the "Save Project" dialog interrupting your batch render:

Reason:
This happens because Batch Render processes the list by opening each project sequentially. When it finishes rendering one project and prepares to load the next one, it must close ("discard" from memory) the current project.
The message "The current project will be discarded" simply means the system is about to close the file, and it is asking if you want to save any changes before doing so.

Solution:
To prevent this from stopping your queue, please check the "Ignore warnings" option in the Batch Render panel.

Enabling this option will suppress these prompts (defaulting to "No/Discard"), allowing the batch process to continue automatically without interruption.

This does not affect or corrupt your original project files. However, if you want to be extra safe, you can always backup your project files before starting the batch render.

For more details on the settings, please refer to our online manual:

Best regards,
Kayla
