Issue 8786
Auto Setup cause Access Memory Violation with Unreal Export Preset - CC4
When exporting any characters from Character Creator 4 into Unreal 5.0.1; An access violation crashes the program. The
characters I tested with are the Kevin and Camila models with no changes using the Unreal export preset. I have tested loading
other models (FBX) in to Unreal with no issues. (From Daz, Blender, Maya).

While importing a set of normal maps for the characters, I keep running in to a access violation error that would completely crash the UE Editor. Looking at the logs, it seems to be related to accessing VRAM between to NVlink’d GPUs (EVGA RTX 3090s).

Seems the plugin starts to work and then at some point fails during the process. I have upload a video to show
what is happening...

Calvin,

I have…the issue is still happening even with the latest Auto Setup and updated Unreal version. Seems to be related to how the plugins access normal maps when processed…I am guessing it is assumed there would only be a single card in a user system…a common situation.
