Activating appearance editor: 43 textures failed to load
Trying to age my character. when I activate the appearance editor, it fails to load textures and results in pure white texture for much of the character. In Outfits, with Actor selected, the activate appearance edit is grayed out.

Thank you for the follow up. The failing to load textures seems to be resolved, but the instructions for aging seems to be outdated, "2. Go to the Modify panel >> Appearance tab. Select the Actor in the tree view and click the Activate button to load the substance textures of the character." When I go to appearance, it shows skin, make up and outfits tabs, in skin, the material drop down gives head, body, arm, leg, nails, none give an 'actor' in the tree view until I go to the outfits tab, but as you can see in the picture, appearance editor is disabled there, if that's where I'm supposed to find it.

I'm very sorry that the manual hasn't been updated yet.You can Activate Editor in Appearence > Skin panel,then change body type to Old and change Normal Strength.The Appearence panels for CC1 and CC3+ characters are different.CC3 character need to be set on Skin panel.
