Hi, AncientWire, Regarding the workspace layout, selecting "3D CREATION" or "AI STUDIO" in the startup dialog launches the default workspace layout. The same applies when switching between "3D" and "AI" using the Workspace Toggle toolbar. If you want to launch with your saved custom workspace layout, click "Launch Last Used" in the startup dialog. (See the attached image) Regarding editing keys in iClone, make sure you copy and paste the keys under the "Render > Transform" sub-track in the Timeline. (See the attached image) Reallusion
Sorry, I didn't see my Content window because AI Studio always removes most of my usually open workspace windows, including Content. Once I added the Content window, I could easily find my custom character. Finding my character is solved, but why do you change and remove my workspace windows? Even if I Save my layout, Reset doesn't restore properly. The Render Window is opened on a random spot on one of my 3 monitors when the images are rendered, why not just leave it where I left it in the Workspace? When I open iClone and set up my Workspace, save it, close iClone, then reopen, my workspace has been lost and does not restore. My toolbars are also not how I left them. I do see the 3D/AI toggle, but 3D doesn't show me the Workspace that I arranged. Setting my workspace up again and again is no fun, especially since Window/Workspace/All Panels doesn't include Console Log or Render. OK, now Window / Workspace / All Panels restores my layout, including Console Log and Render and doesn't open curve, video mocap, timeline and others. It seems that there is something strange going on. When lining up my characters head and body for the reference images, I have not been able to successfully copy and paste the position keyframes. It is not much trouble to set up each image though.
Hi, AncientWire, Sorry, I may have misunderstood your point. To create an AI Actor from a custom character, locate the character in the Custom tab of the Content Manager. Custom characters can be created by modifying and saving any template character. Then, follow the Start from 3D workflow to drag the custom character onto the dummy character in the 3D Viewport. Hi, AncientWire, You can create a custom AI Actor using any of the methods below: - Start from 3D: Convert existing iClone or Character Creator characters into AI Actors. - Import Images: Create a custom AI Actor by importing your own character images. - Import Folder: Batch import character images and automatically assign them to the corresponding angle slots in AI Studio. (https://manual.reallusion.com/ai-studio/custom-tool/create-actor.htm) Once created, the AI Actor appears in the Custom tab of the AI Actor Manager. To use it in an AI tool, click an Add Actor or Reference slot and select the AI Actor from the Custom tab. (as shown in the attached image) Reallusion
