3DXchange 7 fbx viseme to unreal engine using daz3D model
Hello,...
i've imported a daz3D gensis 3 female into exchange ( after applying the facial keys).. all works well... put it into iclone and added a wave file,... all worked well,.. put it back into exchange, all worked well, exported out as fbx and imported into unreal engine, all worked well except for the viseme and facial morphs,...

the fbx file loaded into autodesk products such as 3DS max also worked fine for the viseme, only importing into unreal engine did it not work,... also,.. if i take one of your standard iclone characters and apply the same wave file and same process, the iclone character "will" show facial viseme morphs...

am i missing a setting? all work the same for iclone character and daz3d character and in autodesk products,... with the exception of importing into unreal engine... the daz3d characters don't have the viseme facial morphs...

i'm stumped...
please help :)...
Thanks,
Dan

Hello,
i double checked the settings via your image, still no facial viseme in animation imported into unreal, i also did send an email via the suggestion above...
is there anything else i could try? do i need to do something with the viseme in iClone or exchange to like "burn" it into mesh?
thank you,
Dan

Hi, corin.noe,

When you import FBX to Unreal, did you check "Import Morph Targets" checkbox? (ex: Import Morph Targets.jpg)
