This is a replica of a Weihnachtspyramide (Christmas Pyramid) that is often found at the many Weihnachtsmarkt (Christmas Market/Christmas Fair) that take place in German cities such as Nuremburg, Munich, Mainz & more.

These wonderful holiday pyramids come in hundreds of sizes, with varying numbers of tiers - from small versions that sit on your coffee table to massive structures located in the center of town squares during the holiday season Weihnachtsmarkt . You can scale this prop to sit on a mantel or table or leave it large to decorate the town common/park in your Christmas scenes.

The animation is built-in and accessed through the prop's perform feature (select the prop, right click, select perform and click on animation feature).

You can read more about the history of the Christmas Pyramid on Wikipedia at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christmas_pyramid
