This authentic 1950's Kitchen is styled after the house where I spent my childhood - from the old-style formica counters to the linoleum floor, the old gas range and vintage refrigerator. This Insta-Scene is built to line-up exactly with all of Granny J's 1950 packs (1950's Kitchen Insta-Scene & 1950's Bed & Bath Insta-Scene).

The gas range (an exact duplicate of my mom's range when I was a little girl) has a working burner with gas flame and the oven door opens, and racks come out, so you can have your avatar placing/removing items (like the included 1950's TV Dinner) from the oven. The included retro tea kettle has the old whistle spout & a steam particle. The retro toaster has an attached SFX "Making Toast" sub-prop, so your avatars can actually "toast" their bread.



The retro kitchen sink has running water & soapy water sub-props with built-in animation. Also included is a vintage 1950's style drainboard for drying dishes. The breadbox (just like my mom's from 1952) has built-in animation with a loaf of vintage Sunbeam Bread! The refrigerator is stocked with some 1950's food items like TV Dinners, ground beef, retro coke & vintage beer bottle. The refrigerator has built-in animation to open the door and the freezer compartment.



Realistic touches like an animated vintage KitKat Clock and old-fashioned breadbox (both are duplicates of what was in my mom's kitchen) add realism to any 1950's scene!

INSTRUCTIONAL NOTE: when combining the 1950's Living Packs, remember to remove the scene view from the adjoining packs. (Example, if using 1950's Living Room Pack, when adding 1950's Kitchen pack, remove "Kitchen View &Kitchen Floor FROM THE LIVING ROOM Pack & remove "Living Room View & LR Floor from the Kitchen Pack).
