Use Splines To Optimize Topology & Mesh Distribution

Bezier curves trace facial features with precision, while portrait and profile adjustments remain independent. Planar morphs do not affect the depth of side morphs, and vice versa. Designed for characters with double eyelids, deep-set eye sockets, and nasolabial folds, each refinement aligns cleanly with CC topology to prepare the face for animation.

3D LENS CORRECTION

Photos taken with a smartphone or camera often include lens distortion that deviates from the original subject. Headshot provides a simple slider to correct this distortion, restoring accurate proportions for 3D models.  Manual

SCULPT & SHAPE FACE WITH EASE

Sculpt any area of the face directly on-screen without the need to locate specific sliders. This intuitive 3D sculpt morph system allows you to hover over a control region and adjust the mesh shape using directional mouse movements. It can automatically switches between front and side morphs based on the character’s perspective. TEXTURE REPROJECTION

After any 3D model change, lens correction, or face morph adjustment, use Reprojection to reproject UVs onto the updated mesh and eliminate alignment discrepancies. Apply progressive photo reprojection iteratively across the head, ears, eyes, nose, and lips for a perfect image match.  Manual

De-lighting & Redness

Skin Base Selections

Start with a skin preset that matches your character’s age and facial hair to establish the base skin layer. Headshot provides a wide range of preset foundations to accelerate blending and masking, helping you achieve the perfect textures for your characters.  Manual

Enhance & Replace Facial Texture

Once your character is created, you can continue refining or replacing facial textures at any time in Headshot 3. Swap flat texture-based hair for fully modeled 3D hair, or enhance texture quality and detail using AI Image Generator. Because all edits remain within the texture layer, the original mesh and UV mapping stay completely intact.  Manual

Blend Masking

Generate Low-poly Mesh Hair

Headshot generates 3D hair mesh based on the input image, creating additional mesh layers for alpha masking to soften the hair line. The generated hair is conformable to different head shapes and saved in interoperable ccHair format.
