The same problem occurs with any project. as the project becomes heavier, the buffering time increases by a few more milliseconds.

Hello,

Thank you for your reply.

Regarding the performance issue you mentioned, since we do not have access to the actual project, we are unable to determine the exact cause of the lag. Performance issues can also be affected by many factors, such as system configuration, project content, and other environmental conditions.

In the meantime, we recommend trying the following settings while editing your character's motions:
1. Go to Preferences > Real-time Render Options, and change the "Quality" setting under the Viewport display options to "Minimal" or "Quick Mode".
2. After launching iClone, go to "Preferences > Performance", enable "Progressive Texture Loading", and set it to "Manual Loading", then load project.

Both of these settings can help reduce the workload on the program while you're editing character animations. Once you've finished the more intensive editing tasks, you can switch back to the higher-quality display settings or load back the textures before rendering.

Based on your system information, we don't currently have a clear explanation for why you're experiencing this delay. Please try the suggestions above and let us know whether they improve the situation.
If the issue persists after trying these steps, please feel free to contact us again, and we'll be happy to investigate further.

Thank you.
Tina.
