duplicate issues
When you duplicate a prop whit ctrl button, the duplicate prop will not be visible anymore.
You have to reopen the project and then it is visible again.
Whit popcorn particle it is visible in the scene, but not in the scene list.
Solution is the same as above.

Sorry, tried to reproduce in new file scenes, did not sucseed and forgot about the ticked.
The file in where this occured is corrupd, it craches verry fast.
I think it is becaulse of a bad imported sketchup model.
Therefore I think that is the root of the problems, an anomely.

Can you provide the sketchup model to us?If the file size is larger than 10MB, you can use cloud services such as Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive to make the files available to us and put the link in your comment. You can use Private Comment if you want to keep it private.

Could you record the workflow video for us? I can not reproduce the issue as you mentioned.
This issue happens every time, or occurs on specific content? 
 ( "popcorn particle" it is visible in the scene, but not in the scene list. ---> which content? could you provide more information?)
