Issue 12297
Visibility key not showing in Timeline
Hi,

I’ve noticed a bug related to the Visibility track in the Timeline.
When a character has a Subdivision (SubD) Level set to 1 or higher, changing their visibility (using the eye icon in the Modify panel) doesn’t create or display a key in the Timeline > Visible track.

Because of that, it’s impossible to see when or where the visibility was changed, which makes it hard to keep track of when a character was hidden or shown.

If I set a character without SubD level, the visibility keys appear again as expected.

I’ve attached an image showing the issue for reference.

Steps to reproduce:

Select a character with subdivision Level to 1 (or higher).

Toggle the visibility (eye icon) on/off.

Check the Timeline → “Visible” track : no key is shown.

Expected result:
A visibility key should appear in the “Visible” track regardless of the SubD level.

Actual result:
No visibility key appears when SubD Level ≥ 1.

P.S.
I also hope that in future updates, it will be possible to add or edit morphs on characters with SubD levels enabled, since switching back and forth between HD and SD versions is quite inconvenient, especially now that the visual difference in quality is noticeable. Thank you!

Hi Leowald,

I've tested with Subdivide levels from 0 to 2, and I can add visibility keys in the timeline. Please see the attached GIF for reference. Could you please provide your project so we can further clarify this issue? Thank you!
