Issue 10781
Unremovable Dots on the skin of characters created in CC4
When creating a character in CC4, in every instance pixelated dots appear on the character's skin. These dots vanish when the camera is zoomed in or if viewing closely in the viewport in preview mode, but when you zoom out, they reappear. Initially, I thought they were just part of the character as shown in preview mode, but alas, when exporting the characters to iClone 8 they dots are still there, and they are then rendered in annoyingly precise detail when attempting to render a still image or animation sequence.

Unless this issue is unique to my machine, to replicate it one would need simply to:

1. Open CC4
2. Open any character (the issue appears with the built-in characters, such as Camilla, as well)
3. Zoom in slightly and observe the dots.

I have viewed multiple tutorials and none of them mention how to remove these unwanted dots on the characters' skins. I've tried multiple things, from removing vertex animation prior to rendering, making the shadow catcher invisible, rendering with the Iray plug-in and choosing the option to remove shadow aritifacts, all of them with no effect.

Did I miss something? I searched the manual as well and came up empty. I have included the required system information file and a screenshot of how the problem manifests.

I would highly appreciate your help.

Thank you,

Alysha
